fees and services

All services are private pay. Michael is an out-of-network provider and does not accept insurance. Payment is due at the time of service.

A free 20-minute consultation is available to help determine whether you’re seeking therapy, a diagnostic evaluation, or both.

Superbills are available for ongoing therapy (weekly or biweekly) if you plan to seek out-of-network reimbursement. Eligibility for reimbursement depends on diagnosis and medical necessity.

Therapy

Intensive Therapy Sessions $250 per hour

Extended sessions (typically 4-hour blocks) are designed for deeper, more focused work.

Intensives can be scheduled:

  • Weekly

  • Multiple times per week

  • Monthly for ongoing support

This format allows us to work more directly with patterns and experiences, in ways that often aren’t possible in shorter sessions. The approach is tailored to your needs and may integrate modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, ACT, CBT, and other evidence-based approaches.

Individual Therapy (50 minutes) $250 per session

Traditional weekly or biweekly sessions focused on understanding patterns, building insight, and creating meaningful change over time.

To learn more about Michael’s approach to therapy, visit the Ongoing Therapy Page.

Initial Intake Session (90 minutes) $375

All new weekly or biweekly clients begin with a 90-minute intake session.

This session provides space to understand your history, current concerns, and goals, and can be used in one of two ways:

  • A comprehensive clinical intake focused on beginning therapy work

  • A full differential diagnostic evaluation, if you are seeking diagnostic clarity

If you plan to pursue out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance company, this session must include a diagnostic evaluation, and you must meet medical necessity criteria.

Relationship Therapy (90 minutes) $375 per session

Relationship work focuses on helping partners better understand each other, communicate more effectively, and move beyond reactive patterns. This work integrates IFS-informed approaches and Gottman-based principles.
