EMDR + IFS individual Consultation
Support for Clinicians Who Want to Think More Deeply About Their Cases
I offer consultation for clinicians who want support with EMDR, IFS, case conceptualization, and integrating these approaches into real clinical work. You might come to consultation because you feel stuck with a case, are unsure how to conceptualize what you’re seeing, or want another perspective on moving between EMDR and IFS while keeping a clear treatment plan. I’m an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and EMDRIA Approved Consultant in Training, and my consultation work is especially informed by trauma, neurodivergence, complex presentations, and the integration of EMDR and IFS.
What We Can Work On
Consultation can include:
EMDR case conceptualization and treatment planning
Client readiness and preparation
Target identification and sequencing
Blocks or stalled processing
Complex or highly protective internal systems
Integrating IFS throughout the eight phases of EMDR
Deciding when to stay with standard EMDR and when clinical modifications may be appropriate
Trauma and complex trauma
Adapting EMDR and IFS for neurodivergent clients
Strengthening confidence and flexibility in your clinical decision-making
You do not need to arrive with a perfectly formed consultation question. Bring the case, the place you feel stuck, or the clinical decision you are trying to make, and we can think through it together.
Integrating EMDR + IFS
If you're trained in both EMDR and IFS, you may understand each model individually but still wonder how to bring them together in practice. Consultation can help you think through the case using both lenses and develop a clearer understanding of how EMDR and IFS can work together while keeping the client’s needs and treatment goals at the center.
Consultation for Neurodivergent Clients
I also provide consultation for clinicians working with autistic and ADHD clients, including high-masking adults and clients whose neurodivergence intersects with trauma, burnout, OCD, or complex clinical presentations. We can focus on what is happening in the client’s system, how neurodivergence may be shaping the presentation, and how to thoughtfully adapt EMDR and IFS while maintaining a clear clinical rationale.
Fees & Format
Individual Consultation — $175 per hour
Consultation is offered virtually in 60-minute sessions. You can schedule consultations as needed for individual cases or meet more consistently for ongoing professional development and when working toward EMDRIA certification.
EMDR Intensive Consultation Group
October - November, 2026 CohortS
Plan, personalize, and deliver EMDR intensives with greater clinical clarity.
This four-meeting consultation group is for EMDR-trained clinicians who want support developing or refining intensive therapy within their own practice.
We’ll cover the full arc of intensive treatment across all eight phases of EMDR, from determining whether an intensive is appropriate and creating the treatment plan to reprocessing, closure, reevaluation, and ongoing care.
I’m limiting the group to 4 participants to allow plenty of space for active participation, case consultation, questions, and individualized feedback.
What We’ll Work On
Across the four meetings, we’ll explore:
Screening for intensive therapy and assessing readiness, suitability, endurance, access needs, and clinical fit
Structuring 8–12 hours of treatment, or more when appropriate, based on client needs, therapist preference, and the goals of the work
Developing your own preferred intensive model, including total treatment hours, length of individual treatment blocks, spacing between sessions, follow-up, and other practical decisions that fit both your clinical style and the needs of your clients
Case conceptualization, cognition history, target selection, and building an individualized treatment Blueprint
Planning for history-taking, preparation, breaks, reprocessing, closure, reevaluation, and continuity of care within an extended format
Integrating IFS when it supports the EMDR task and fits your training and the client
Adapting communication, pacing, preparation, and access for neurodivergent clients
Responding to stalled processing, fatigue, sensory overload, therapist urgency, unfinished targets, and changes to the original plan
Thinking through what happens after an intensive, including reevaluation, additional treatment, referrals, and coordination with an ongoing therapist
There is no single way an EMDR intensive has to look. Part of our work together will be helping you develop an intensive structure that is clinically sound and sustainable for you and your clients, rather than simply replicating someone else’s model.

Reevaluation, Aftercare & Refining Your Practice
Reviewing outcomes, delayed responses, unfinished work, follow-up, ongoing care, and using what you learned to refine your intensive model.
The weeks between meetings are part of the process. You’ll have approximately 30 to 60 minutes of guided worksheet and reflection work between sessions so you can apply what we discuss and bring your thinking back to the group. There is no assigned reading, and you do not need to begin an intensive with a new client during the group. You can work from the case examples I provide or bring a case from your own practice.
